  • Ages: 6-10
  • Grades: 1-5
  • Focus: Tailored for younger children beginning to explore their leadership and entrepreneurial potentials, this program introduces them to basic concepts of entrepreneurship through engaging and playful activities. Participants will learn vital skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and basic financial literacy. We aim to lay the groundwork for their future success and nurture them into confident and proactive community leaders.

  • Focus: This program builds on the foundational skills acquired in the Mini-Bosses program, offering more structured challenges that enhance critical thinking, business planning, and public speaking skills. Through workshops and project-based learning, participants will dive deeper into the complexities of running a business and leading teams.

Bosses in Training - YBIB Internship

  • Ages: 15-18
  • Grades: 10-12
  • Focus: Designed for teenagers ready to tackle advanced entrepreneurial challenges, this program focuses on comprehensive business planning, financial management, and market engagement. It prepares participants for real-world business endeavours and collegiate business studies.

  • Ages: 19 and up
  • Eligibility: College/University students and young adults
  • Focus: As a bridge between academic learning and real-world application, this initiative offers hands-on experience in leadership and management. Participants will take on significant roles within our community teams and committees, aligning their academic pursuits with practical leadership experiences.

Our Journey to Self Program is designed for youth ages 6-19 to help them discover their strengths, build self-esteem, and improve their mental health and wellness. Our program specifically supports underrepresented youth in overcoming self-doubt and generational disadvantages, while promoting resiliency, self-care, and self-reflection. Join us on a transformational journey towards personal growth and empowerment.

Pitch Contest for Kid Business owners / Kid entrepreneurs

We believe in supporting young dreams!

As part of our Young Bosses In The Making programs, kids will have the unique opportunity to participate in the YBIB Pitch Contest. This contest will allow young entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses in a 90-second video and explain how their business impacts their community. With over $2,000 in cash prizes available. The Pitch Contest is an exciting opportunity for kids to earn money for their business and gain valuable experience in pitching their ideas. Plus, the exposure gained from participating in the contest could lead to new connections and opportunities for their business. The Pitch Contest is an annual event that all kids in our Young Bosses In The Making programs are encouraged to participate in.
